Hannah Beaumont (Ensemble) is super-excited to be singing on stage for the first time in nearly 10 years (well, aside from the occasional karaoke bar...)! Lurking mostly in the shadows behind the BCT stage, she has been a part of the production staff for several shows, including The Texas Chainsaw Musical! (both presentations), Of Mice and Men, High Fidelity, Triassic Parq: The Musical, and most recently Bat Boy: The Musical. You may even have snuck a peak of her in zombie makeup for Night of the Living Dead last year, or bought your evening's tickets from her at the box office. This time, however, she's in costume and under the lights! She would like to thank Patrick Ciamacco for Blank Canvas Theatre and all of the magic it houses.

 

 

Michael Crowley (Jack) is thrilled to return to the Blank Canvas stage!  Blank Canvas credits include Bat Boy: The Musical (Reverend Hightower/Mrs. Taylor/Roy), the Cleveland premiere of Triassic Parq: The Musical (Mime-A-Saurus/Morgan Freeman), and the 2015 benefit concert.  Favorite credits include Bonnie & Clyde (Buck Barrow), Hot Mikado (Pooh-Bah), Pride and Prejudice (Col. Fitzwilliam), She Stoops to Conquer (Hastings), The Little Prince (Fox/Snake), Reefer Madness (Lecturer), Rabbit Hole (Jason), 4.48 PsychosisA Midsummer Night’s Dream (Flute), Urinetown (Bobby Strong), Lend Me A Tenor (Max), Carousel (Carnival Boy), Les Misérables (Grantaire), Cedar Point’s Lusty Lil’s Palace Revue (Barbershop Quartet), and A Collection of Grimm’s Fairytales (Mother/Others) at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. He is very excited to share this stage with incredibly talented people. Domenic Farinelli (Ensemble) teaches theatre and runs the Drama Club at Lakewood High School. In 2012 he graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with a BA in English, as well as minors in theatre and education. He's performed in over 25 productions throughout Northeast Ohio including West Side Story (Tony), Peter Pan (Captain Hook), and Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour). He'd like to thank Patrick for the opportunity to perform with Blank Canvas Theatre. He'd also like to thank his parents for always believing in him and for being the best people he knows. Shout out to Christine--you are bae.

 

 

Becca Frick (Ensemble) is thrilled to be back on the Blank Canvas stage after last portraying Emily in Our Town. Her other favorite Blank Canvas credits include Hair (Jeanie) and Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical (Roberta).  Becca spends her days working for Great Lakes Theater and directing at Bay High School. Next up, she is directing The Laramie Project at Workshop Players to open in January, 2016. Thanks for joining in the MADNESS with us! 

 

 

 

Neely Gevaart (Mary Lane) is very excited to be back at her favorite theater in Cleveland!  She was previously seen here in Triassic Parq: The Musical (T-Rex 2), Hair (Crissy), and The Texas Chainsaw Musical! (Kristy).  Some of her favorite shows elsewhere include The Spitfire Grill (Percy), Violet (Violet) and The Light in the Piazza (Franca). She would like to thank Patrick and Lawrence for letting her be a part of all this madness. Thanks to her friends and family for their love and support. 

 

 

 

Trey Gilpin (Ralph) is stoked to return to Blank Canvas for his third production after 12 Angry Men (Juror #4) in 2013 and Hair (Woof) in 2014.  Trey is a Kentucky native who moved here after receiving his BA at Grove City College (alongside our lovely Narrator) and working with the Roundabout Theatre Company in New York, New York.  As an adopted Clevelander, Trey has appeared at Cain Park, Ensemble Theatre, Lakeland Civic Theatre, and more. He was last spotted in Beck Center’s production of Green Day’s American Idiot.  Favorite shows include The Importance of Being Earnest (Algernon), Anything Goes (Lord Evelyn), The Drowsy Chaperone (Aldolpho), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Freddy), and The Last Five Years (Jamie). His next project is right down the street at Cleveland Public Theatre, where he’ll be playing Matt in the regional premiere of Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play this coming February!  Many thanks to Pat, Lawrence, and the rest of this crazy, talented crew!


Kristen Hoffman (Ensemble) is so thrilled to be returning to the Blank Canvas stage, where she previously appeared in Godspell (“Bless the Lord” soloist). She is a senior Musical Theatre major at Kent State University, where she most recently appeared in The Servant of Two Masters (Beatrice). Other credits include American Idiot (Extraordinary Girl) at Beck Center for the Arts, Babes in Arms (Dolores Reynolds) with The Musical Theatre Project, and Abnormal (Robin), The Woodsman (Sgt. Lucas), and Legally Blonde (Ensemble), all at Kent State University.


 

Zac Hudak (Ensemble) is blazed to make his Blank Canvas debut in a show featuring a different kind of holiday greenery and absolutely NO Christmas cheer.  Recent credits: Columbus - YANK! A WWII Love Story (Czechowski); Cleveland - Lend Me A Tenor (Bellhop) at Beck Center, Dye Jung (Alan/Not Alan), Swimming In the Shallows, Sordid Lives, Warlords of Walderhaven, and Based On A Totally True Story, all at convergence-continuum, where he is a proud company member; New York - Jennifer Danielle's Shucked (a play loosely based on himself).   Zac has also appeared numerous times as a featured comic at the world famous New York Comedy Club in Manhattan.  He dedicates this show to potheads.


Colleen McCaughey (Sally) returned to her native Ohio in June, 2015. She holds a bachelor’s degree in both Theatre and Political Science from Allegheny College.  From 2013-2015, she worked in New York as a stage manager for various theatre companies including The Play Company and the Flea Theater, and performed in various cabarets, choirs, and Shakespearean shows. Originally from Hudson, Ohio, Colleen has appeared onstage in several Northeast Ohio theatre productions, most recently in Bat Boy: The Musical at Blank Canvas (Ruthie/Ned). Colleen is a proud member of the staff of Cleveland Public Theatre.

 

 

Kate Leigh Michalski (Mae) is absolutely thrilled to be back at Blank Canvas!  Other favorite performances include The Spitfire Grill (Shelby), Triassic Parq: The Musical (Kaitlyn), Twelfth Night (Maria/Feste), High Fidelity (Liz), and The Texas Chainsaw Musical! (Lucretia). She has a BFA in Musical Theatre from Point Park University. So much thanks to Patrick and Lawrence for once again letting her play.  Love you Mom! Love you Dad. 

 

 

 

 

Aaron Patterson (Jesus) loves to work on the Blank Canvas Theater stage. He has also appeared here in Triassic Parq: The Musical (Velociraptor of Faith), High Fidelity (Ian Neil/Young), and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (Chief Bromden). Other favorite roles played include Jesus Christ Superstar (Jesus) at True North. Arsenic and Old Lace (Dr. Einstein) Solon Arts Center. Something Dada Improvisational Theater (Cast Member) at Beck Center in Lakewood. Thanks to Patrick for the great direction and trust. And to you, for supporting live theater in Cleveland!

 

 

 

Derrick Winger (Lecturer) – is very excited to be back on stage at Blank Canvas Theatre and working with this group of passionate artists.  You may remember him from Working (Man 3) or the 2013 and 2014 benefit concerts performed here.  Most recently, he performed in The Spitfire Grill (Eli) at Beck Center for the Arts.  Some other favorite musical theatre credits include Les Misérables-School Edition  (Valjean), Monty Python’s SPAMALOT (Sir Galahad), The Pirates of Penzance (Pirate King), Children of Eden (God), The Fantasticks (Matt), Guys and Dolls (Sky), Of Thee I Sing (Wintergreen), and The Wiz (Lion).  He has also directed Children of Eden, Urinetown, and Bye Bye Birdie for youth theatre and high school programs in New York and Pennsylvania.  He’d like to thank his wife, Justine, and his baby girl, Cassandra, for their support and a special thanks to you for supporting local theatre!


Cory Zukoski (Jimmy) is on cloud nine to be joining this amazing cast in his Blank Canvas debut! Previously, he has been seen on various stages from Near West Theater, The Cassidy Theatre, and all the way down to Canton Players Guild. Favorites include: The Who's TOMMY (Tommy), Cats (Skimbleshanks) and The Wiz (The Tin Man). Many thanks to my mom and Jenny for all their love and support.  Remember kids, don't eat the brownies!!!

 

 

 

Brittany Gaul (Stage Manager) is pleased to return to her second home: the booth at Blank Canvas. Recent Stage Management credits include: Bat Boy: The Musical (BCT), Finn McCool (Talespinner Children's Theatre), Our Town (BCT) and many others. Brittany is an actor, stage manager and teaching artist for several theatres in Cleveland. When not working on shows, Brittany can be found teaching yoga, practicing ballet, or reading books. 


 

Luke Scattergood (Costume Design) Luke is excited to be back behind the scenes for another show here at Blank Canvas. Past costume design credits at BCT include OurTown, Hair, ...Cuckoo's Nest Working, Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical, and others. His work has also been seen recently in Big Fish and Pajama Game at TNCA and Evita at BTOTS. He would like to thank Patrick for once again allowing him to be a part of the team and for trusting him to help bring this wacky musical to life.  Also, thanks to his red-hot smoking wife, Laura, and his "assistants," a.k.a. kids, Lucy and Levi, for all their love and support.
