CAST

Maggie Adler (Alison) - is ecstatic to be making her debut performance at Blank Canvas Theatre. Her past shows have been at The Beck Center for the Arts, True North, Huntington Playhouse, and Cassidy Theatre, as well as high school. Some of her favorite credits include The Children’s Hour (Martha Dobie), The Foreigner (Catherine Simms), Anne of Green Gables (Anne Shirley), Peter Pan (Twin 1), and Pippin (Catherine). She is a senior at Rocky River High School. On her free time, Maggie likes to read books and watch TV shows on Netflix. Maggie would like to thank all her friends and family who love and support her in everything that she does. 

 

Leslie Andrews (Laura) – is super excited to be returning to Blank Canvas and to be doing another show with her hubby! Her Top 5 Shows include Young Frankenstein (Inga), Debbie Does Dallas: the Musical (Debbie), Jerry Springer: The Opera (Zandra/Irene/Mary), The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Pippi), and Xanadu (Calliope). Other roles at Blank Canvas that were good, just not quite Top 5 are The Texas Chainsaw Musical! (Nun/Parishoner/Ensemble) and Godspell (Turn Back, Oh Man). Leslie has also performed at Beck Center and Playhouse Square. She earned a Bachelors of Music in Voice from Cleveland State University. Eternal gratitude to Pat and Lawrence, love to the fam – especially the guy with the messed up face.

 

 

Stephen Berg (Futon Guy and Bruce) is making an immediate return to the Blank Canvas stage and couldn't be more excited about it! He graduated with a BA in Dramatic Arts from Case Western Reserve University. Most recently he appeared in this theatre's production of Night of the Living Dead(Tom). Some of his prior credits include Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street (Sweeney Todd), The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged (Adam), and Gutenberg! the Musical! (Bud). He is extremely grateful for the chance to work here again and could easily make a habit of it. Much love to Morgan, my parents, and all my friends for their support!

 

Tasha Brandt (Marie) is a Cleveland based singer, songwriter, actor and performer who was most recently seen in Blank Canvas' Benefit Concert, as well as, Judy Rose in Night of the Living Dead. Before that, she was belting backup vocals for the fiercely talented, Jessie Cope-Miller at Nighttown and Playhouse Square. She has been seen in Blank Canvas' production of Working: The Musical and Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical, as well as, lots of other theatrical adventures. Eternal gratitude for this experience and you amazing people supporting the local arts! Thank you and Enjoy!

 

 

Patrick Ciamacco (Barry) is honored to work with such an amazing cast and staff. Past Blank Canvas shows include Of Mice and Men (Lennie) and Hellcab (Cabbie). You may remember Patrick from Shrek The Musical (Shrek) at Mercury Summer Stock. Other professional credits include Beck Center’s Jerry Springer The Opera (Dwight/God), Spelling Bee (William Barfee), and Evil Dead The Musical (Jake). Also, Playhouse Square's We Gotta Bingo (Bucky Fuller), a musical version of The Nutcracker at The Cleveland Play House, and Playhouse Square's 2 1/2 year run of Tony & Tina's Wedding. Favorite performances include Secret Garden (Archibald), Children of Eden (God the Father), The Baker's Wife (The Baker), Chess (Freddie), The Music Man (Harold Hill), Art (Marc) and The Full Monty (Dave). Patrick also co-founded, directs, performs, and writes for The Laughter League, a Cleveland- based sketch comedy group. Patrick sends thanks to his Mom, Frank, his brothers, Jacqi, and especially Becca for her continued support and love. Love you baby!


Tony Heffner (Mohawk Guy) is ecstatic to make his Blank Canvas debut. He has participated in productions around the area including Beck Center, Huntington Playhouse, and True North. Some of Tony’s favorite credits include Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Freddy Benson), Avenue Q (Princeton), Catch Me If You Can (Frank Abagnale, Jr.) and …Spelling Bee (Leaf). Tony is also up for Best Actor in a Musical for Community or Educational theatre on Broadwayworld.com for both Frank, Jr. and Leaf. Tony would like to thank his friends and family for always supporting him in all he does!

 

Matt Majewski (Hipster) is happy to be part of the cast of High Fidelity: A Musical. This is his first production at Blank Canvas Theatre. His previous productions include Godspell at Cuyahoga Community College where he played the role of Jesus, and Pippin at John Carroll University where he played the title character, Pippin. For much of the year, Matt works at a camp in western Michigan as a youth development professional. He is very excited to be back in Cleveland, and back on the stage

 

 

Kayla McDonald (Sarah) is delighted to be making her Blank Canvas debut! Kayla has most recently been seen in Company (Amy),Cat On A Hot Tin Roof (Maggie the Cat), and in Jacob’s Ladder Surface (Cassidy Michaels). She is also active in the local film community and has steadily been working on her IMDb page. Kayla would like to thank the amazing cast and crew for all their work on this production. She would also like to thank and her very supportive friends and family and to wish you all a happy, and safe, holiday season.

 

 

Jillian Mesaros (Penny) is very excited to be back at Blank Canvas Theatre for this production of High Fidelity!  Recent credits include Hair, Rent, and Les Miserables (Eponine).  She is a Junior at Cleveland State University, studying math, music, and theatre. Thanks to Patrick for this great opportunity and to the rest of the crew for making this possible!

 

 

 

Kate Leigh Michalski (Liz) is so happy to be back again at Blank Canvas after performing here in this years benefit and sold out run of Hair.  Previous favorite shows include The Texas Chainsaw Musical (Lucretia),Godspell, Guys and Dolls (Sarah Brown),  and ...Spelling Bee (Olive).  She has a BFA in Musical Theatre from Point Park University. Thanks so much to Patrick and Lawrence for letting her once again be a part of something so wonderful!  This spring, she can be seen at Ensemble Theatre's production of Twelfth Night (Maria/Feste).  Love you Mom! Love you Dad.

 

 

Pat Miller (Dick) dedicates his performance to his brother, Eddie, who passed away on July 24, 2014. Eddie’s favorite store was The Exchange in Lakewood, which is why Pat is psyched for this opportunity to perform in High Fidelity’s “last real record store on Earth.” Previous Blank Canvas Theatre appearances include The Texas Chainsaw Musical! (Groovy Teen) and Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical (Mr. Hardwick…and five other weirdos). His performance as Patsy in Monty Python’s SPAMALOT at Beck Center garnered him two “Best Actor in a Musical” awards from the News-Herald Best Theater Awards and the BroadwayWorld Cleveland Awards. When not on stage, Pat thoroughly enjoys working as the Graphic Designer & Marketing Coordinator in Beck Center’s Marketing Department with the awesome Kathy Caffrey. Love to his parents and Tina. Kevin Myers (TMPMITW) is excited to play TMPMITW for his first role at black canvas theater.  Kevin began acting again with his children 2 years ago in Babes in Toyland (the muffin man). He then scored roles in Romeo and Juliet (Balthazar) and Jekyl and Hyde (Lord Savage) before sharing the stage with his oldest son in Oliver (Bill Sykes).  Kevin is very busy this year with his children who are also acting at playhouse square this Christmas season.  He would like to thank his family for all their love, support, and for encouraging him to audition.

 

Hayden Neidhardt (Charlie and Backup Singer) is very excited to be back onstage at Blank Canvas. She was recently seen on our stage in the Build A Beautiful City: Benefit. When Hayden isn't on our stage she volunteers and loves to come watch our shows in her favorite seat. She is super happy to be sharing the stage with these many talented people. She would like to thank everyone for letting her hang with the big kids! 

 

 

Shane Patrick O’Neill (Rob) is thrilled to be returning to Blank Canvas Theatre debut after performing in Godspell last season. He holds a Masters of Music in Musical Theatre from NYU and a BA in Musical Theatre from Ashland University. Locally, he was last seen in Beck Center's Forever Plaid (Frankie) and Lakeland Civic Theatre's The Light in the Piazza (Fabrizio Naccarelli). Regional: Legally Blonde (Emmett Forrest),  The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Chip Tolentino), I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change (Man 2). NYU: Sweeney Todd (Sweeney Todd), The Light in the Piazza (Giuseppe), and Baby (Nick). He was also seen in the New York City reading of the new musical Babes at Sea (Jinx Jamieson), as well as the Orchestral Premier of Songs for a New World (Man 2). Shane teaches acting and voice at Olmsted Performing Arts Center and is an Adjunct Professor of Theatre at Ashland University. Aaron Patterson (Ian, Neil young and Middle Aged Man) - is excited to return to the Blank Canvas stage. Recently he appeared in One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest (Chief Bromden).  A Cast  member    with Something Dada, Cleveland's longest running improv theater and appears in Flanagan's Wake (Brian Ballybunion) at Playhouse Square. This is his first musical production. Thanks to Fae, Mary Bridget Davies, the cast of High Fidelity for the love and support.

 

 

Monica Zach (Jackie/Anna) is excited to be back at Blank Canvas for this awesome production!  She was last seen at BCT in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (Candy Starr).  Other recent credits include An Inspector Calls (Sheila), Swimming in the Shallows (Donna) andTainted Justice ( Pearl).  You can also see a glimpse of her in Captain America Winter Soldier.  Many thanks to Patrick for this wonderful opportunity!

 

 


Brittany Gaul (Stage Manager) is excited to be back at Blank Canvas Theatre. Recent stage management credits include Night of the Living Dead (BCT), One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (BCT), and Adventures in Slumberland (Talespinner Children’s Theatre). Brittany works as a teaching artist for several theatres and arts programs throughout Cleveland. Recent acting credits include Loki & Lucy (Mom/Fenrir), One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Nurse Flinn) and Love in Pieces (Ophelia).
