Stephen Berg (Shannon Bell) is overjoyed to return to the Blank Canvas Theatre stage. His last appearance at this theatre was in Children's Letters to Satan.  He graduated with a B.A. in Dramatic Arts from Case Western Reserve University and has remained an actor in the area since then.  Some of his other recent credits include The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Captain Phoebus), Beauty and the Beast (Beast), The Taming of the Shrew (Hortensio), The Flick (Sam), Avenue Q (Nicky), The Best Man (Marcus),  Bat Boy: The Musical (Pan), The Night of the Living Dead (Tom), High Fidelity (Bruce Springsteen),  and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) (Adam).  He sends love to his friends, family, and YOU for being here. 

 

 

Antonio DeJesus (George Noon) is thankful to be back at Blank Canvas Theatre, having just finished Bloody, Little Pieces (Jogger, Masked Man, Tom, Joe, Man).  Recent credits include Equus (Alan) at BCT (2017 “Best Actor in a Non-Musical” and “Young Rising Star” Nominee - Cleveland Critics Circle), Bent (Rudy) at Beck Center, Company (Paul) at the Allen Theatre, and Spring Awakening (Hanschen) at Near West Theatre.  When not on stage, Antonio pursues photojournalism and works as a barista at Lakewood’s Goodkind Coffee.  For Emily Suzanne Plank. Logan Honsaker (Frenchy Cabazon) is excited for his second show with Blank Canvas Theatre!  He is a graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a B.F.A. in acting. Some of his previous credits include roles in Is This Entertainment? (Mason Blair), The Crucible (Reverend Hale), and Bill Caine’s Equivocation (Sharpe).  We would like to thank you all for coming out and supporting the arts!

 

 


Noah Hrbek (Alferd Packer says “Shpadoinkle!” is the best way to describe the pure joy of taking part in this Shakespearean masterpiece!  Noah was last seen on the Blank Canvas Theatre stage in Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Krzyzhtoff - guitarist) in JuneHe has kept busy offstage as well, creating projections and animations for Hedwig…, the scenic painting for Side Show, and scenic painting and some blood effects for Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.  He is thrilled to be getting dramatically silly (and bloody) with this incredible group of people!  Enjoy the show, you stupid Yanks.

 

 

 

Donnell James (TownspersonNutter, Chief Understudy)  is extremely excited to be doing a show at Blank Canvas Theater.  His credits include ensemble roles in Mary Poppins, Carrie: The Musical, and The Hunchback Of Notre Dame.

 

 

 

Joe Kenderes (Frank Miller) has been a Trey Parker fan most of his life and it's a dream come true to be performing his earliest work.  In addition to last year's benefit concert production of Chess and many Laughter League shows, Joe has been seen on the Blank Canvas Theatre stage in The 39 Steps (Hannay) and Of Mice and Men (George).  Recently, he performed with Rubber City Theatre in The Crucible (Proctor), and in A Chorus Line (Don) at Cassidy Theatre.  Joe works in corporate America and teaches stage combat.  Love to Jill, AOK, Sami, Fat Blue, Drooly Drake.  As always, it's an honor for him to work with the most talented man in CLE, Patrick Ciamacco.

 

 

Jay Lee (Chief, Townsperson) is a Case Western Reserve University graduate and is very excited to be part of this production and to return to Blank Canvas Theatre after having been seen in We Will Rock You (Khashoggi/Ensemble).  Other recent credits include Urinetown: The Musical (Bobby Strong) and Barefoot in the Park (Paul).

 

 

 

 


Mark Majercik (Miner, Doomed Guy, Ute, Sheriff) is very excited to be in his first show at Blank Canvas Theatre!  His previous credits include Annie (Daddy Warbucks), The Laramie Project, and Oklahoma! (Jud Fry).

 

 

 

Meg Martinez (Polly Pry) is excited to be back at Blank Canvas Theatre a third time for Cannibal! The Musical after playing Johanna in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street earlier this season and Janet Weiss in The Rocky Horror Show last fall.  Favorite recent credits include Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins—twice!), The Music Man (Marian Paroo), A Little Night Music (Petra), [title of show] (Susan), Doubt (Sister James), Cymbeline (Imogen), Princess Ida (Princess Ida), The Gift of the Magi (Della), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Philia), Into the Woods (Rapunzel), and Company (Kathy).  This holiday season, she'll be reprising her role as Della in The Gift of the Magi with Theatre in the Circle.  Meg holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Brown University and is an Equity Membership Candidate.  Thanks to Patrick and the entire cast and crew, and thanks AND love to Matt! www.meg-martinez.com

 

Vince Matia (Mills, Humphrey's Dad, Loutzenheiser, Cyclops )is excited to be returning to Blank Canvas Theatre after his debut appearance in Side Show (Geek) in April.  His previous credits include Songs for a New World with The Academy for Dramatic Arts and Godspell with CAMEO in Medina.  Vince earned his degree in Music Education from The Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music and now teaches music and theater at Walsh Jesuit High School in Cuyahoga Falls.  When not directing rehearsals with his show choir, building sets for school musicals, or teaching voice lessons, Vince can be found performing with the Baldwin Wallace Men's Chorus. He would like to thank his family for their unending love and support. 

 

 

 

Grace Mitri (Noon’s Mom, Clerk, Judge) is excited to be back at Blank Canvas Theatre, where she was last seen in Children’s Letters to Satan.  Grace holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts (Acting) from Case Western Reserve University, and continued her studies at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts and the Maggie Flanigan Studio in New York.  Recent Ohio credits include The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time (Siobhan) at Weathervane Playhouse, In The Blood (Amiga Gringa/Beauty) at convergence-continuum, The Taming of the Shrew(Tranio) with Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, and The Leader (Girlfriend) at Cesear’s Forum.

 

 

Venchise Phillips (Liane, Squaw, Townsperson)  is delighted to be in this production of Cannibal! The Musical as Liane and Squaw!  Her recent credits include The Rocky Horror Show (Phantom), Chess (Ensemble), and Bat Boy: The Musical (Daisy).  She has also been seen on and offstage in recent Blank Canvas Theatre benefit performances as well as being a sound operator and stage manager.  Venchise would like to thank Patrick and the BCT family for this exciting opportunity, and her husband Aaron for his unfailing love and support.

 

 

Danny Simpson (James Humphrey) is very thankful for Patrick and Matt allowing him another opportunity to be on the Blank Canvas Theatre stage, and to work with this group of hilarious people.  Recent credits include BCT’s productions of We Will Rock You (Galileo Figaro) and The Rocky Horror Show (Riff Raff), Lakeland Civic Theatre’s Merrily We Roll Along (Joe Josephson), and Strongsville Community Theatre’s Godspell (Jesus).  Danny graduated from John Carroll University with a B.A. in Communications and Theatre Arts, and wants to thank his family, extended family, and friends for coming to see his performances over the years.  Enjoy the show.

 

David Turner (Israel Swan) is ready to be mutilated in another Blank Canvas Theatre show with this crazy cast.  Favorite theatrical credits include Silence! the Musical (Lamb), Cabaret (Bobby), A Chorus Line (Mike), Rock of Ages (Franz Kleinman), The Wedding Singer (Robbie Hart), The Producers (Leo Bloom), Bonnie & Clyde (Buck Barrow), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Hero), Hair (Tribe /Margaret Mead), and The Secret Garden (Dickon).  Many thanks to Patrick for this exciting opportunity.  Special thanks to my family and friends for their support and especially to Jason for all his love!
