CAST/STAFF

Douglas F. Bailey II (Jerry Lukowski) is grateful to be returning to the Blank Canvas Theatre stage in the company of so much talent. He was last seen as Eddie in The Rocky Horror Show. Other BCT credits include Debbie Does Dallas, Psycho Beach Party, Working, and The Texas Chainsaw Musical. Cleveland area credits include Cain Park’s Memphis (Huey Calhoun, Cleveland Critics Circle Best Actor 2018), Rock of Ages (Lonnie) and Godspell (Light of the World); Shrek The Musical (Shrek) at both MAD* Factory and Near West Theatre (Fill-In); and Sweeney Todd (Sweeney Todd) at MAD* Factory. Douglas serves on the board of directors for Mighty Goliath Productions in Avon Lake where he recently appeared as The Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. By day he travels the continent as a product manager for Egan. He dedicates his work in this production, as all others, to the memory of his late father, The Silver Fox. Love to Sarah, Matilda, Desmond and Taso.

 

Tommy Bilczo (Nathan Lukowski) is excited to make his Blank Canvas Theatre debut! Tommy's most recent credits include Matilda (Eric), Sweeney Todd (Tobias), and Newsies (Buttons).  Tommy has performed in productions at the Cleveland Play House: A Christmas Story (Ralphie '16, Flick '18), Shakespeare In Love (John Webster), Freaky Friday (u/s Fletcher) and Macbeth (Fleance). He has performed all around the CLE.  He studies voice with Amber Michalak and is currently in the CPH Theatre Academy.  Tommy has also trained with A Class Act NY, and Broadway Artists Alliance.  He is in 8th grade at Brookside Middle School.  He hopes you enjoy the show! 

 

 

Tasha Brandt (Georgie Bukatinsky) is excited to be back on the BCT stage! She has been seen in Rocky Horror Show (Columbia), Cabaret (Lulu), Night of the Living Dead (Judy), High Fidelity (Marie), Working: The Musical (Woman 1), Debbie Does Dallas (Lisa). Recenty, she's been seen in Into The Woods (The Witch) at Cleveland State University, The Beck Center for the Arts’ production of Gypsy (Electra), Strongsville Community Theatre’s Godspell (Learn Your Lessons Well), Mighty Goliath’s production of Urinetown (Hope Cladwell) and Near West Theatre’s production of Hair (tribe member). When not on stage, Tasha teaches Embody dance for women and co-facilitates the Waking Women Workshop Series at Vision Yoga. Thank you for supporting this space and for supporting local theater! 

 

Nathaniel Cochran (Teddy Slaughter)  returns to the stage in this production of The Full Monty after a several year hiatus from the theater.  Deep introspection and soul searching have led him back to his destiny and lifelong dream of theater performance. Currently residing in Pittsburgh, PA, Nathaniel is ready and willing to follow the path that lies before him and go where the calling takes him.   Even during his pause from acting onstage, he sought to advance his dramatic skill set, and continues to do so by taking classes and attending workshops at every available opportunity Past performances include An Experiment with an Air pump (Peter Mark Roget), Bus Stop (Bo Decker), and The Man Who Came to Dinner (Burt Jefferson). He looks forward to adding many more shows to this list of achievements.  Nathaniel is both thrilled and grateful to have been given the opportunity to be a part of Blank Canvas Theatre’s production of The Full Monty.

 

Richard Faust (Reg Willoughby) is performing for the first time at Blank Canvas. His recent credits include You Can’t Take It With You (Paul), Into The Woods (Rapunzel’s Prince), and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (Evan). He’s an illustrator by day creating art for all kinds of media and products. He’d like to thank his handsome boyfriend Jeff for all the encouragement, and the best teachers around for all their help over the years; Frank Bianchi, Tracy Grady, and Natalie Green.

 

 

 

Gavin Gangi (Tony Giordano) is excited to perform on the Blank Canvas stage for the first time! Regional credits include Legally Blonde (Grand Master Chad),  Bonnie & Clyde (Sheriff Schmidt),  The Addams Family (Lucas Beineke), Guys & Dolls (Benny Southstreet), 9 to 5 (Joe), Anything Goes (Sailor Quartet/Ensemble), The Greenwood Tree (Muse). Gavin also wants to thank Kristin, Patrick, his friends, family, and Buzz! 

 

 

Adam C. Harris (Dave Bukatinsky) is thrilled to be making his Blank Canvas debut with this amazing cast and in this incredible show. His most recent and favorite credits include: Assassins (The Balladeer), Young Frankenstein (Victor/The Blind Hermit), Hands on a Hardbody (Ronald), West Side Story (Riff), Shrek the Musical (Shrek), Bertha The Beautiful Typewriter Girl (Skeets Skinner), The Curious Savage (Dr. Emmett), The Majestic Kid (Aaron "Buster" Weiss) as well as performing in two cabarets in the area at Aurora and Counterpoint Stuidos.

 

 

Bevan Michael Haynes (Harold Nichols) is excited to make his debut at Blank Canvas! Favorite credits include Sunday in the Park with George (George), Man of La Mancha (Cervantes/Quixote), One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Scanlon), Dracula (Dr. Seward), To Kill A Mockingbird (Bob Ewell), The Fantasticks (Matt), and Much Ado About Nothing (Claudio). Art isn't easy.

 

 

 

 

Tony Heffner (Ethan Girard) is excited to be back on the Blank Canvas stage after his portrayal of Brit in We Will Rick You back in the summer of 2018! He is a proud member of the Equity Membership Candidacy Program and is eligible to become an Equity Actor! He lives in Berea and has participated in many productions in the greater Cleveland area including Cain Park, Beck Center, The Brecksville Theatre and Weathervane Playhouse. Some of Tony’s favorite credits include Next to Normal (Gabe), Bonnie and Clyde: A New Musical (Clyde Barrow), American Idiot (Johnny), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Quasimodo), The Who’s Tommy (Tommy), and Catch Me If You Can: The Musical (Frank Abagnale, Jr.). Tony would like to thank his family and friends for always supporting him in all he does! GBOGB! For Bug.

 

 

Darelle Hill (Noah “Horse” T. Simmons) is excited to be making his debut with Blank Canvas Theatre. His recent credits include 27 Wagons Full of Cotton (Silva), Aida (Radames), Black Nativity (Shepherd), and Sassy Mamas (Ladonte). He is a former student of Notre Dame College of Ohio where he studied Performing Art, participated in Concert Choir and was a member of the Notre Dame Chamber Singers. He is also a proud alumnus of the CMSD All-City Arts program where he participated in choir and dance.

 

 

Bernadette Hisey (Jeanette Burmeister) is excited to return to Blank Canvas Theatre.  She was previously seen in Urinetown (Penelope Pennywise), and Cabaret (Fraulein Schneider).  She has performed in over 50 shows on 25 stages in 5 counties of Northeast Ohio.  Favorite roles include Kiss Me, Kate (Kate/Lilli Vanessi) Hay Fever (Judith Bliss),  Hello, Dolly (Dolly), Footloose (Vi Moore) Sweeney Todd (Mrs. Lovett),  The King and I (Mrs. Anna), Don’t Dress For Dinner (Jacqueline)and A Broadway Christmas Carol (Woman).  After retiring from a 30+ year career as a music teacher, she is pursuing an acting career.  She is an Equity Member Candidate.

 

 

 

Brendan Junge (Gary) is excited to be making his Blank Canvas Debut! You may have recently seen him in...Legally Blonde ( Kyle B. O’Boyle) Brecksville Theatre, How to Succeed... (Tackaberry) ACT, A Chorus Line (Bobby) Cassidy Theatre, Newsies (Albert) Brecksville Theatre, MAMMA MIA! (Eddie) Cassidy Theatre, Annie (Bert Healy) Cassidy Theatre and Ensemble roles in Chicago and Sister Act both at The Brecksville Theatre. He would like to thank the Cast, Crew, friends, family and Sarah for all their love and support! 

 

 

 

Madeline Krucek (Vicki Nichols) Doing what she loves, Madeline’s heart is full to be working again with friends, and especially to be returning to BCT after performing last summer as Sarah in Toxic Avenger! Her most memorable performances would have to be Heathers: The Musical (Veronica Sawyer) at Beck Center for the Arts, Bonnie and Clyde: The Musical (Bonnie Parker) at Cassidy Theatre, as well as RENT (Mimi Marquez) at Tri-C West Theatre. Since graduating with a BA in Theatre from Baldwin Wallace, she realizes life is now a balancing act that gets pretty hectic. But, she has endless adoration and gratitude for all of her loving family and friends as they support her to their fullest in her pursuits.

 

 

Meg Martinez (Estelle) is always excited to be back at Blank Canvas Theatre, where she was most recently seen in Evil Dead: the Musical (Linda) and Yippee Ki-Yay Merry Christmas! A Die Hard Musical Parody (Klaus/Tony). Other recent shows include Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins), The Music Man (Marian Paroo), [title of show] (Susan), The Rocky Horror Show (Janet Weiss), A Little Night Music (Petra), Sweeney Todd (Johanna), The Drowsy Chaperone (Kitty), Little Women the Musical (Meg March), Cymbeline (Imogen), and Doubt (Sister James). Meg is also an actor/writer with the sketch comedy group Benihana Waitstaff and has appeared in The Mike Polk Jr. Show Live and The Voltron Show. April Needham (Pam Lukowski) - is very excited to be making her debut at Blank Canvas Theater. Her most recent credits include Rumours (Cookie), To Gillian On Her 37th Birthday (Kevin), and The Anxiety Project (Amy). She is a Cleveland native and has performed at various theaters in and around the Cleveland, OH area. She has also performed in Las Vegas, NV. Her favorite credits include Cherry Cherry Lemon (Keira), and Hunter Gatherers (Pam). She would like to thank her family and friends for all of their support! Last but not least, she would like to thank her cast mates, crew, and the wonderful audience that made this show possible. Thank you!

 

 

 

Jessica Pringle (Susan Hershey) Jessica is thrilled to be joining such an incredible company and returning to Blank Canvas Theatre, having appeared in Sweeney Todd. Most recently she appeared in The Wind in the Willows (Mrs Otter) and Ragtime (Kathleen). Recent favorite productions include Carrie (Miss Gardner), How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (Smitty), Parade (Sally Slaton), and Songs for a New World (Woman 1). Jessica is wife to Seth and dog mom to Freyja and serves as Assistant Director for Admission at Baldwin Wallace University. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, travel, and reading. Much love to friends and family for their support!

 

 

Anthony Salatino (Marty) is ecstatic to be back on the Blank Canvas stage.   His recent credits include Legally Blonde (Elle's Dad/Dewey), How To Succeed (Mr. Toynebee/Ensemble), A Chorus Line (Al Deluca), EQUUSNewsies (Morris Delancey),  Scrooge: The Musical (Young Ebeneezer).  He wants to give a big thanks to Kristin and Patrick for this wonderful opportunity and to this awesome MANLY and woMANLY cast. 

 

 

 

 

 

Kayla Mae Schleimer (Joanie) is super excited to be a part of this production.  Her recent credits include Legally Blonde (Pilar), Sister Act (Tina/Nun) and Mamma Mia! (Ensemble). Kayla would like to thank Patrick & Kristin for this opportunity and also her friends, family and teacher friends for all of their love and support!

 

 

 

David Turner (Malcolm MacGregor) is excited to be returning to Blank Cancas! Past theatrical credits include How To Succeed in Business... (Pierpont Finch), Newsies (Davey), Avenue Q (Bad Idea Bear), Cannibal the Musical (Israel Swan), Chicago (Ensemble), A Chorus Line (Mike), Cabaret (Bobby),  Rock of Ages (Franz Kleinman),  The Wedding Singer  (Robbie Hart), The Producers (Leo Bloom), Bonnie and Clyde (Buck Barrow), A Funny Thing Happened... Mark Vandevender (Buddy “Keno” Walsh”) is thrilled to be back at Blank Canvas! He is extremely excited to be in this show. Some of his recent roles were Rocky- The Rocky Horror Picture show at Blank Canvas and LCCC, Kurt - Heathers at Western Reserve and Sister Mary Leo - Nunsense Amen at Judson. He hopes that everyone enjoys the show and feel free to bust out the dollar bills at any point! He would like to thank you all for coming and supporting Blank Canvas and a special thanks to his family, Kelsey and teammates for always supporting him and finding subs for sports! Enjoy the show! Whitney Miller (Stage Manager) is thrilled to be back at Blank Canvas Theatre, for the 13th time, doing what she loves. Some of her favorite past shows include Avenue Q (Stage Manager), Dogfight (Stage Manager), Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Stage Manager), Kiss of the Spider Woman (Stage Manager), Songs for a New World (Stage Manager), and The Last Five Years (Lighting Designer).  Whitney attended Case Western Reserve University for Chemical Engineering, but spent most of her time with the CWRU Footlighters. Anthony Newman (Sound Operator/Assistant Sound Design) is a writer, actor, and director who grew up in the Cleveland area and is proud to still be working in the Cleveland theater community.  He has worked at Blank Canvas Theatre as sound engineer and designer for four years. He holds a BA in Theatre and English from Case Western Reserve University and studied classical acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London for a semester. Some of his previous acting credits include BCT’s The Bigfoot Letters (Cubby/Murphy) and Rubber City Theatre’s Julius Caesar (Casca) and Cymbeline (Pisanio).  In 2018, Blank Canvas produced Is This Entertainment?! as part of their Factory Series, the first professional production of a play he had written.
