SUPPORT BLANK CANVAS THEATRE

Help Support Our Theatre

Blank Canvas Theatre is beginning our 12th season of producing professional quality theatre at affordable prices. In order to keep our ticket prices affordable, we need your help. There is still a lot to be done at our space in order to make our theater more comfortable for our audiences and to allow us to produce higher quality shows.

If you have enjoyed one of our shows and would like to support us, your gift will go towards making your future visit even more enjoyable. Your name will also be added to our playbill and on our website’s supporters page as one of the people who help make Blank Canvas Theatre possible.

Even if you have never been to our space, we hope that you will still consider supporting us in our goal to bring quality theatre productions to both new and veteran theatre-goers, and that you will join us to see a show soon.

Any support you are willing to give – whether financial, in-kind services, or supplies -- will go a great distance in helping Blank Canvas Theatre to continue to provide professional quality entertainment at affordable prices. If you have any questions or would like to help in other ways feel free to contact patrick@blankcanvastheatre.com.

“In a handful of years, Ciamacco, the artistic director of the hole-in-the- wall company, has built an enviably broad customer base, as evidenced by devotees who flooded the 78th Street Studios on opening night, selling out the house. And even better, for the future of theatergoing in Cleveland, many seemed not to be regular patrons of the stage” - Andrea Simakis (The Plain Dealer)

“When Blank Canvas opened its doors in a funky hard to find near-west side arts building, the question was whether artistic director Pat Ciamacco’s underfunded endeavor of love would make it.  The first show, THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MUSICAL, was an artistic smash hit.  It was followed with critically acclaimed OF MICE AND MEN and then HELLCAB. Their newest offering, NEXT FALL, is an emotionally challenging, thought provoking drama which continues the theatre’s “wow” streak.” – Roy Berko (Theatre Critic)

“Director and Blank Canvas Theatre owner Patrick Ciamacco just cannot seem to produce a bad show. His low budget, quirky, theater space inside the 78th Street Studios in Battery Park is turning out hit after hit.” –Kory On The Radio (WDOK)

“Cleveland’s vibrant theater scene keeps growing and getting better. Blank Canvas Theatre is the freshest evidence.”  - Fran Heller (Cleveland Jewish News)

"Look for great things to come from this upstart company, they are raising the bar." – Kory On The Radio (WDOK)

“Didn't know what to expect but truly enjoyed the show and loved the intimate venue. Can't wait for the next show. Blank Canvas is a great addition to the Cleveland theater scene.” – Linda (Audience Review)

“This was my first experience at BCT, and I was quite impressed. The space is intimate, creating a strong connection between the audience and the actors. This was the first time I have ever seen a theater audience moved to tears. Overall, a wonderful theater experience--I will definitely be back!” – Rebecca (Audience Review)
