 CAST

Ashley Conlon (Laura) - is very excited to return to the Blank Canvas Theatre stage! Previously, she has performed at BCT as Tammy in Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical, and in the musical revue of Merrily We Roll Along as Ru. Other recent credits include The Ladies Man (Marie), And Then There Were None (Vera Claythorne), and Mame (Pageen/Ensemble).  Ashley received her B.A. in Theatre Performance from Ashland University. When not on stage, she enjoys all things Cleveland, catching a Tribe game, failing at Pinterest projects, making green smoothies, and pretending to like running. A huge thank you to Patrick for the opportunity to work with BCT again, and to the rest of the cast and crew for such a wonderful experience!  Ashley also wishes to thank all of her loved ones for their constant support, especially her Mom, who has been there for her literally since day one!! Enjoy the show!

Jeffrey Glover (Stu) is pleased to return to Blank Canvas Theatre after being in Next Fall (Butch).  Jeff has graced the stages of Beck Center, Cleveland Public Theatre and True North in the past few years in shows such as The Producers, Miracle on 34th Street and The Pole.  He is also a writer; his plays Claus for a Moment and She Cried at the Circus have been part of CPT's Big Box series.  He is a proud graduate of Ohio University and a devout Bobcats fan.  He and his lovely wife, Nicki, are residents of Lakewood.

Len Lieber (Old Man) - is making his debut at Blank Canvas Theatre and is happy to have the opportunity to work with Patrick again.  Since 1957, he has appeared in numerous stage productions in California, Indiana and Ohio.  His more recent and favorite roles have been in Our Town (playing 16-year-old George at age 67), Of Mice and Men (Candy), and The Cemetery Club (Sam).  Now retired from 50 years as a treatment specialist and executive in the child abuse and mental health field, Len is enjoying life as a "senior athlete" year-round, spending more time with family and stopping longer to smell the roses.

Jenna Messina (Peg) is absolutely thrilled to be making her Blank Canvas Theatre debut in Bathroom Humor.  She studied theatre and dance at Baldwin-Wallace University and  has been seen onstage at numerous theatres throughout NE Ohio including Beck Center for the Arts, Lakeland Civic Theatre, Cleveland Public Theatre, Dobama Theatre, TrueNorth Cultural Arts, Clague Playhouse, The Cassidy Theatre and The Bang and The Clatter Theatre, as well as in a number of independent films.  Most recently, Jenna directed A Streetcar Named Desire at The Cassidy Theatre, where she previously directed Oklahoma!, Dearly Departed and Arsenic and Old Lace. Additional directing credits include productions at CPT, Dobama Theatre, Fourth Wall Productions and the Spotlights Theater, among others.  Jenna is also a produced playwright and cabaret performer, and has served as costume designer and make-up artist for both stage and film.  Next up, Jenna will be directing The Seven Year Itch opening this summer at The Cassidy Theatre .

Luke Scattergood (Arthur) is excited to be returning to Blank Canvas Theatre after last appearing in Of Mice and Men (Carlson) in its inaugural season. Since then, he has worked behind the scenes costuming numerous shows including Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical, Godspell, and Working. Most recently, he appeared on stage with Mighty Goliath Players in Once Upon A Mattress (Dauntless) and with The Laughter League here on the BCT stage. Luke lives in Bay Village with his red-hot, smokin' wife, Laura, daughter, Lucy, and coming -in- June 2014- son, Levi. He would like to thank Patrick for this opportunity, his family for all their love and support and, finally, The Big Man upstairs for all the talents and abilities he has been blessed with. Enjoy the show!
