CAST

Curt Arnold (Adam) is happy to be back at Blank Canvas Theatre after appearing in Patrick’s inaugural production of The Texas Chainsaw Musical, as well as assistant stage managing Hellcab.  Elsewhere, he recently appeared as Michael in Boys in the Band at convergence-continuum and, next up, he will be seen in Jonathan Wilhelm's Miracle and Wonder at Ensemble Theatre. As an actor, director and stage manager, his work has also been seen locally at Beck Center, Cassidy, Clague, Cleveland Public Theatre, Dobama, Huntington, JCC Halle, Lakeland, Playhouse Square, and Weathervane Playhouse.  For the last 10 years, he has been proud to direct and co-produce an annual musical production to benefit AIDS service agencies in Cuyahoga and Summit counties, raising over $85,000 for these charities.

Timothy J. Allen (Luke) is delighted to be making his debut at Blank Canvas after a two-year sojourn on the west coast.  He is a recent graduate of the MFA Musical Theatre program at San Diego State University where he focused on performance, direction, and education.  He recently published his thesis, Artistry in Collaboration: The Director’s Approach in Musical Theatre, a critical look into how the director fosters the creativity of all members of his collaborative team under a single vision.  In San Diego, Timothy appeared in Fiddler on the Roof (Motel), Zanna Don’t! (Mike Singer), Little Women (Professor Bhaer), and The Boy Friend (Lord Brockhurst).  A native of Cleveland, OH, Timothy has appeared at area stages in Little Shop of Horrors  (Seymour), Spelling Bee (Leaf Coneybear), Fiddler on the Roof (Motel) at Beck Center for the Arts; The Importance of Being Earnest (Jack Worthing) and Sweeny Todd (Ensemble) at Lakeland Civic; and Cabaret (Emcee) and Romeo and Juliet (Mercutio) at Stage Left Theatre.  www.timothyallenonline.com.

Jeffrey Glover (Butch) is pleased to be making his debut with Blank Canvas.  Jeff has graced the stages of Beck Center, CPT and True North in the past few years in shows such as The Producers, Miracle on 34th St. and The Pole.  As a writer, his plays Claus for a Moment and She Cried at the Circus have been part of Cleveland Public Theatre's Big Box series.  He is a proud graduate of Ohio University and a devout Bobcats fan.  He and his lovely wife, Nicki, are residents of Lakewood.  Dylan and Owen - everything Butch feels and knows comes from being your father - this one is for you.

Anne McEvoy (Arlene) This marks Anne’s first appearance at Blank Canvas Theatre and she’s happy to be working with so many new faces… along with one or two familiar ones. Most recently, Anne appeared in Pandora Robertson’s 13 Most American Dreams, Sasha Thackaberry’s  Destroying the Light, and David Hansen’s The Mysterious Affair at Styles. Elsewhere, she's worked at Actor’s Summit, the Bang and Clatter, Beck Center, Cleveland Shakes, Cleveland Play House, Cleveland Public Theatre, Dobama, Ensemble, Great Lakes Theatre, Karamu, Lakeland, and Ohio Shakespeare Festival. This coming December, her adaptation of The Magic Flute will be produced at Cleveland's brand new Talespinner                                                   Children's Theatre.

Lindsay Pier (Holly) is delighted to be a part the inaugural season at Blank Canvas Theatre and thrilled to join the cast of Next Fall. Most recently, she's taken on the role of mother to an amazing and beautiful 14 month-old daughter.  Before that she could be seen as Lily in The Secret Garden and Sharon in Finian’s Rainbow at Near West Theatre.  She has also appeared as Sister Robert Anne in Cassidy Theatre’s production of Nunsense! and Huntington Playhouse’s Forbidden Broadway. Originally from Milwaukee, WI, Lindsay came to the Cleveland area five years ago via Washington D.C. with her husband, a native of Berea. She studied musical theater at the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music. In real life, Lindsay works at the ACLU of Ohio, helping to preserve and protect civil liberties—liberties often taken for granted. Favorite past roles have included Madeline True in The Wild Party, Rosencrantz (it’s a long story) in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, and Woman 2 in Songs for a New World.
