Clara Edleman (Ensemble/Associate Choreographer) Is thrilled to perform at this amazing theatre once again before she makes her way to college, studying musical theater and dance at Ohio Northern University. Clara’s favorite past roles include the title roles in Carrie: The Musical and Alice By Heart, along with Regina George (Mean Girls), Anna (Spring Awakening),Young Fiona (Shrek the Musical), Tiny Tim/ Master William (A Christmas Carol, Great Lakes Theatre), JoJo (Seussical), Wendy (Lost Girl), and Amanda (Matilda The Musical). Clara has studied classical ballet since age four and has found a new passion for choreography; she recently choreographed the musical Six at MAD Factory Theater! Seth Jerabek (Todd/Ensemble) hails from Ashland, Ohio, and is delighted to be returning to the Blank Canvas Theatre stage for Bubble Boy. Seth holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Lancaster Bible College and has enjoyed bringing a variety of characters to life throughout his theatrical career. He is especially happy to be performing at BCT once again after appearing here in One Man, Two Guvnors. When not performing, Seth enjoys listening to vinyl records, thrift shopping, and spending quality time with his cat. Seth hopes that, while watching Jimmy’s journey of self-discovery, you might discover something new about yourself as well. Natalie Joritz (Ensemble) (she/her) is thrilled to be making her Blank Canvas Theatre debut! She received both a B.A. in Theatre and an M.B.A. from Heidelberg University. Her previous stage credits include Hodel/Assistant Choreographer (Fiddler on the Roof), Cherry Valance (The Outsiders), and Rhoda/Dance Captain (White Christmas). You can also hear her on the Dungeons and Dragons podcast “Misfortune’s Key.” Natalie is currently a Guest Strategy Associate at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Chelsea Kacinari (Chloe Molinski) is ecstatic to be making her Blank Canvas Theatre debut in Bubble Boy! Chelsea is a Cleveland native who is so excited to work on this show while she's home for the summer. She is a rising Sophomore B.F.A. Musical Theatre student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). Some of her favorite credits include the collegiate debut of Lempicka at UNCG (Ensemble/Tamara DeLempicka understudy), along with Mean Girls (Cady), and Once Upon a Mattress (Winnifred the Wobegon), both at Beck Center. When Chelsea isn’t on stage, she loves to paint, go to the gym, and create content for her TikTok and her university’s social media pages! She would like to thank her parents, friends, and professors who have supported her throughout her theatrical journey!
Assad Khaishgi (Pushpak/Ensemble) is thrilled to be in his first full production at Blank Canvas Theatre. A transplant from Karachi, Pakistan to Lakewood, Ohio, he was last seen at Clague Playhouse playing a suspicious foreign gentleman in The Mousetrap (Mr Paravicini). Some other fun roles have been in Failure: A Love Story (John N Fail), The Explorers Club (Sir Humphries), Bengal Tiger in the Baghdad Zoo (Uday), The Fox on the Fairway (Henry Bingham), and Cash on Delivery (Norm McDonald). He also once rented a motel room to Liam Neeson in The Marksman. Laugh hard, run fast, be kind.
Kareem Mchaourab (Mark) is thrilled to make his return to the Blank Canvas Theatre stage. His recent credits include Andy Warhol in Iran (Farhad) at Beck Center for the Arts, RENT (Ensemble) at BCT, and The Secret Garden (Fakir/Ensemble) at Stocker Arts Center. When not on the theatre stage, Kareem rocks on stage with his band SPÏLL as well as in pit orchestras for many local productions. Kate Leigh Michalski (Mrs. Livingston) is always happy to be back at the Canvas. Allison Naso (Ensemble) is thrilled to be returning to the Blank Canvas Theatre stage, having previously appeared in Rocky The Musical (Gloria/Ensemble and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (Ensemble). Her favorite credits include 42nd Street (Dorothy Brock), The Sound of Music (Elsa Schraeder), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Domina), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Narrator), and Company (Amy). Bobbi Jean Palumbo (Lorraine/Ensemble) is very excited to be making her Blank Canvas Theatre debut! Her most recent credits include A Little Night Music (Mrs. Nordstrom), Nuncrackers, The Nunsense Christmas Musical (Sister Mary Hubert), and Young Frankenstein (Masha/Ensemble). Bobbi Jean attended Elon University’s Music Theatre Conservatory and studied music and theatre at Youngstown State University before becoming an accountant and raising a family. Twenty years later, she’s an empty-nester who is thrilled to be back on the stage! Shout-outs to Robert Schneider, Mike Caraffi, and Helen Todd for helping shake the cobwebs off. Aaron Patterson (Mr. Livingston/Gil) is so happy to be back on the Blank Canvas Theatre stage. Thank you Patrick, Jonathan, and Caitlin! Louis Schwartz (Shawn/Bus Kiosk Guy) is thrilled to be returning to the Blank Canvas Theatre stage for the second time. He is an environmental chemist from Shaker Heights, and was last seen on this stage in 2022 as Patrick Star in the Cleveland premiere of The SpongeBob Musical. Louis is a Cleveland area community theatre actor and stage manager, and some of his performing highlights include The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical (Mr.D/Gabe), Disney’s Newsies (Davey), Jesus Christ Superstar (Annas), Cabaret (Ernst Ludwig), All Shook Up (Dean Hyde), and Urinetown: The Musical (Officer Barrel). As stage manager, his favorite credits include Lippa’s The Wild Party, 9 to 5, and youth shows at Beck Center with playwright/director Rachel Spence (Going Medieval: A Ye Olde Comedie and Channeling Grimm). Samuel Roter (Jimmy Livingston) earned his Bachelor of Science at Muhlenberg College, double majoring in Chemistry and Theatre. He last appeared on the Blank Canvas Theatre stage as Alfred in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. Other recent credits include Stanley in the world premiere of Uhaulin’ (Cleveland Public Theatre), Pierre in Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 (Muhlenberg), Demetrius/Starveling/Mustardseed in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Rubber City Theatre), Everybody et al. in Everybody (Muhlenberg), and Alejandro in The Labyrinth of Desire (Muhlenberg).
Stephen Sandham (Rapunzel’s Prince) has performed on community and professional stages from Avon to Madison and is excited to make his Blank Canvas debut! Stephen recently returned from Michigan performing as a guest artist with the internationally touring trio The Manhattan Dolls in their show, Salute to America. Regional: Fiddler on the Roof (Fyedka), Hit Me With Your Best Shot (Stephen), A Christmas Carol (Fred/Young Ebenezer/Bob Cratchit US), Ruth (Mahlon), and Tuck Everlasting (Jesse Tuck). Peter Seidl (Ensemble) is thrilled to be back at Blank Canvas Theatre! Past BCT credits include Noises Off (Timothy Allgood), RENT (Ensemble), Frankenstein: The Musical (Robert Walton/Blind Man), and Alice By Heart (Nigel/Dormouse). His most recent credit was Man of La Mancha (Tenorio/Barber) at Ohio Shakespeare Festival; other favorite credits include Curtains (Aaron Fox), Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour), and The Music Man (Harold Hill). In his spare time, Peter practices and plays the accordion, surrounding himself with Greek music while also working toward completing his pre-law degree at CSU. He is so thankful to the cast and creative team behind this production and would like to thank his family and friends who continue to inspire him to strive for better!
Avery Wrentmore (Ensemble) is super excited to be in Blank Canvas Theatre’s production of Bubble Boy! Avery is a student at Kent State University, where she studies computer engineering and serves as vice-president of a student-lead theater club at KSU and recently directed a scene for their cabaret. Although not pursuing an education in theater, Avery is determined to keep her passion for the art alive by auditioning and helping out in local productions. Her favorite credits include Puffs, or Seven Incresingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic (Megan Jones), Mean Girls (Janis), and Legally Blonde The Musical (Enid Hoops). She would like to give a special thanks to her friends and family for supporting her endeavors and encouraging her to keep improving. Avery is thrilled to be working alongside such a talented and hardworking group, and hopes this show not only makes the audience laugh but encourages everyone to step out of their “bubbles” and chase after their dreams!

Kym Cleal (Assistant Stage Manager) is a rising, fifth-year senior music major and theatre minor at Baldwin Wallace University from Brunswick, Ohio, and is so excited to be joining the Bubble Boy team for her first show at Blank Canvas Theatre! Recent projects include stage managing Gutenberg! The Musical and assistant directing the new musical Star Machine at BW last academic year as well as assisting with theatre camps through BW’s Community Arts School. In the fall, Kym will be the assistant director for the musical theater staged reading of Carousel, also at BW. Beyond the stage, Kym is an active member of the competitive and award-winning a cappella group Sōl A Cappella, and is an orientation leader during the summer to welcome new students and families to campus. Kym is forever thankful for the support she has received from her friends and family.
Heidi Herczeg (Music Director) has been seen music directing all over Northeast Ohio for the last 26 years, including at Beck Center, Cassidy Theatre, the Magical Theatre Company and Near West Theater. She has been a member of the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus and the Cleveland Opera Chorus, serving as Children’s Choir Master during her tenure. Heidi holds a bachelor’s degree music education from Baldwin-Wallace College (now Baldwin Wallace University), and a Masters of Music Education from Case Western Reserve University. Retiring from Bay Village City Schools in 2020 after 33 years, Heidi is thrilled to be able to devote her time music directing. Thank you to Jonathan and Pat for this opportunity. Bubble, Bubble!!!
Jonathan Kronenberger (Director) is overjoyed to return for another show at Blank Canvas Theatre, after far too long of a hibernation. At BCT, he has had the great privilege of directing the productions of Little Miss Sunshine, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Silence! The Musical, and Extremities, as well as providing assistant direction on Hedwig and the Angry Inch and the benefit productions of Chess and Jekyll & Hyde. Jonathan has also been seen onstage at BCT as The Narrator in The Rocky Horror Show, Harry in Night of the Living Dead, and Juror #2 in 12 Angry Men. Following Bubble Boy, he will be directing the upcoming special presentation of Whodunit…The Musical by Ed Dixon to benefit The AIDS Task Force of Greater Cleveland, performing at Near West Theater on Monday, August 24 -- he hopes to see you there! Jenna Rhoades (Sound Operator) is thrilled to be back home at Blank Canvas Theatre running the sound board! Some of her favorite past shows include Groundhog Day (Stage Manager), Disaster! (Sound), Pippin (Sound), Frankenstein: the Musical (Sound), RENT (Sound), Into the Woods (Sound), Hair (Assistant Stage Manager), Shrek The Musical (Assistant Stage Manager), and Dead Man's Cell Phone (Assistant Director). Jenna attended Heidelberg University as a Communications major and was heavily involved in theatre there as an executive member of Heidelberg’s chapter of the National Theatre Honor Society, Alpha Psi Omega. Mandalyn Stevens (Stage Manager) is happy to be leading another show at Blank Canvas Theatre, and excited to share the role with Kym! Her recent stage management credits include RENT, Frankenstein: The Musical, Alice By Heart, The Mousetrap, and The Crucible. Dave Maxson (Guitar) has been seen, or heard, at Blank Canvas Theatre in productions including The Last Starfighter, Alice By Heart, Disaster!, Altar Boyz, and Grease. He's very excited to be working with Patrick, Heidi, his fellow bandmates, and such an excellent cast. Always great to be at BCT !
Joel McDaniel (Keyboard 2) is an active multi-instrumentalist, music director, actor, and director in the Northeast Ohio region. He has over 15 years of teaching experience as a music and theater educator. Joel holds a B.M.E. in Music Education from Baldwin Wallace University and an M.M. in Music Education from Kent State University. He is happy to join Blank Canvas Theatre for this production of Bubble Boy.
