Patrick Ciamacco (J) is honored to work with such an amazing cast and staff.  Past Blank Canvas Theatre shows include High Fidelity (Barry), Of Mice and Men (Lennie) and Hellcab (Cabbie).  You may remember Patrick from Shrek The Musical (Shrek) at both Mercury Theatre Company and Near West Theatre.  Other professional credits include Beck Center’s Jerry Springer: The Opera (Dwight/God), The 25th … Spelling Bee (William Barfee), and Evil Dead - The Musical (Jake).  His experience also includes  Playhouse Square's  We Gotta Bingo (Bucky Fuller), a musical version of The Nutcracker at The Cleveland Play House, and Playhouse Square's two-and-a hal- year run of Tony & Tina's Wedding.  Favorite performances include The Secret Garden (Archibald), Children of Eden (God the Father), The Baker's Wife (The Baker), Chess (Freddie), The Music Man (Harold Hill), Art (Marc), and The Full Monty (Dave).  Patrick also co-founded, directs, performs, and writes for The Laughter League, a Cleveland-based sketch comedy group. Patrick sends thanks to his Mom, Frank, his brothers, Jonathan, and especially Becca for her continued support and love.  He dedicates his performance to the person sitting in the third row, fifth seat from the left.


Kenzie Critzer (Kara) is a rising junior BFA in Acting student at Baldwin Wallace University. She’s so excited to be participating in her second show at Blank Canvas Theatre!  Her previous credits include Frenchie in Blank Canvas’ Cabaret, Sybil Gage in Playwrights Local's Things As They Are, Essie in You Can’t Take it with You, Lydia in Big Love, Susan in Company, and a role in Callings: A Devised Piece.  She would like to thank her family for their constant support, everyone on the production staff at Blank Canvas, and her wonderful castmates.  



Stuart Hoffman (Simon) is back on the Blank Canvas Theatre stage following last year's Birds of Paradise, Cabaret, and his original play Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.  He has also been seen around town at Mamai Theatre (Lady Windermere’s Fan), convergence-continuum (My Barking Dog), Cleveland Public Theatre (Standing on Ceremony, Johanna: Facing Forward), and several others. Thank you for supporting live theatre.

 

 

 

 

Kevin Kelly (John) is stoked to stomp again on the boards of Blank Canvas Theatre.  Honored that Jeff Glover has let him join the creation process of this original work.  He was last seen here at Blank Canvas in The 39 Steps, and was also seen in The Wild Party.  His other recent credits include Scrooge! (Scrooge), Shrek the Musical (Lord Farquaad), and Jesus Christ Superstar (Pilot).  His favorite roles include the title role in Sweeney Todd…, Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady, Molina in Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Edna Turnblad in Hairspray, Daddy Warbucks in Annie, and Crumpet in The Santaland Diaries. He has two film credits: Chuckie in Edge of Seventeen, which starred Lea “Big Boo” DeLaria, and himself in documentary Move On!   And he has directed all over the place. TPOG! 

 

 

Ariana Starkman (Mary is a rising sophomore at The University of Pittsburgh and excited to be in this production!  She studied Single Sword at The Fredricksen this summer under Brian Byrnes and attended Dobama Emerging Actors Program for two summers. Some of her recent credits include Memorial (Sandra Scheuer), Peter and the Starcatcher (Sanchez and Fight Captain), Trojan Women (Woman 1), and The Persians (Justice).  She will be in A Midsummer Night's Dream (Puck) at ESU's All-City Shakespeare Festival July 21.

 

 

 

 

 

Danny Simpson (Paul)  is honored to be a part of this great cast, and very thankful to Jeff and Patrick for allowing him the opportunity to do so.  This is Danny’s first appearance on the Blank Canvas Theatre stage and he is very excited to be playing St. Paul.  Recent credits include Lakeland Civic theatre’s productions of Into the Woods (Rapunzel’s Prince), and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Nick), and Beck Center’s American Idiot (Ensemble).  Danny graduated from John Carroll University with a BA in Communications and Theatre Arts and is currently pursuing multiple career paths in entertainment, from working for a brewery, to building sets for his alma mater’s theatre program as a technician, as well as providing color and play-by-play commentary for Gilmour Academy Hockey streaming broadcasts.  Interests include music, sports, golf, bowling, TV, putt-putt, food, and beer, long walks on the beach - all that jazz. He would like to thank his family and friends for their love and support and hopes that everyone enjoys the show. Thank you.


Daniel Scott Telford (Peter) is an actor from the Cleveland area completing his a BFA in Acting at Baldwin Wallace University this year. Some of his previous roles include Davis in Really Really, CC Showers in The Diviners, Williamson in Glengarry Glen Ross, and Smirnov in Chekhov's The Bear. He wants to thank Jeff, Patrick, the cast, and crew for making Blank Canvas a wonderful place to be.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Darius Stubbs (Judasis excited to be joining Blank Canvas Theatre again, having last been seen in  Our Town (Stage Manager). Darius is an actor, director, vocalist, and teaching artist.  He has been creating original theatre work, also known as “devised” theatre, since 2007.  He has also worked as an arts educator with Cleveland Public Theatre's S.T.E.P. and Y-Haven programs.   Some acting credits include Cleveland Public Theatre’s Rusted Heart Broadcast (CatManDu), Cleveland Shakespeare Festival’s Titus Andronicus (Aaron the Moor), Great Lakes Theatre’s Comedy of Errors (Sir Balthazar), and Medina Showbiz’s The Boys Next Door (Lucien P. Smith).

 


 

Venchise Glenn (Stage Manager) is delighted be involved in another Blank Canvas production.  Venchise has been seen on and off stage at Blank Canvas Theatre, most recently running sound for The Wild Party and Cabaret, and stage managing Glengarry Glen Ross and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.  Her recent performance credits include Bat Boy: The Musical (Daisy) and Hair (Tribe).  When not roaming the halls of the theater, Venchise can be found cancelling plans last minute, going to “Pizza Mondays” at Planet Fitness, and refusing to accept that punk is dead.  Thank you, as always, to Pat and the every-growing Blank Canvas family for every experience at this incredible theater.

 

Jenniver Sparano (Costume Designer) has designed costumes for various Blank Canvas Theatre productions, beginning with its inaugural production of The Texas Chainsaw Musical! and including last season’s Glengarry Glen Ross and Silence! The Musical.  Her work has also been seen at Beck Center, Clague Playhouse, Cleveland Public Theatre, Dobama Theatre, Weathervane Playhouse, and many other venues including the Pickwick & Frolic cabaret stage.  In addition to costume design, she is proud to co-produce the upcoming Judge Jackie: Disorder in the Court!, this year’s annual ATFGC/CANAPI benefit musical  on August 14 and 21.  A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Mt. Holyoke College, she is employed by KeyBank.
